Alzheimer’s Association Washington State Chapter

The health and safety of our constituents, volunteers and staff remain our driver as we address the COVID-19 outbreak and as we continue to pursue our mission, today and in the longer term.

Based on the guidance from local public health agencies, we are implementing the following precautionary measures beginning Monday, March 9. The staff in Washington State and North Idaho will be working remotely. We are prepared with technological and other support for our staff to successfully operate in support of our mission.

Alzheimer’s Association operations will continue, and we will re-evaluate these measures on an ongoing basis and resume in person engagements as soon as we are able, based on public health guidelines.

Meetings, events and participation both in internal and external activities will be conducted online or by phone whenever possible. Please check our Chapter’s website at alzwa.org for details on meetings and events.

During this time, the Alzheimer’s Association is available to you 24/7 for around-the-clock care and support:

  1. Thank you. As one of your senior (79) volunteers I appreciate this.
    Stay well everyone.

  2. What a wonderful organization that I have chosen to volunteer for. I am retired and wanted something meaningful and respectful of my time and energy. I am very happy to be associated with this very fine non-profit. If anyone wants to see a powerful movie, I saw “The Father,” yesterday. I cried and and felt emotions that have been triggered by what I have learned from the trainings I have observed with the Alzheimer’s Association. I know that I have chosen the right team to help.
